Peaches & Herb the Sweethearts of Soul wowed Cape Town on Saturday 15th of June 2024. The Sweethearts of Soul, as they are known, performed on Saturday 15th June to a sold out Grand West Casino and Entertainment world in Cape Town. Concert promoter SMH (who brought Shakatak and Robin S to Cape Town in 2023) brought the hit-makers to Cape Town for the historic concert.

The show was fantastic. Faghrie Isaacs was brilliant played for the crowd and got the entire auditorium singing he engaged the crowd.

HELL NO even I can do better the less said the better.
Then the main act, this old frail man who can hardly walk and I’m thinking f….ck they could have just left Faghrie on for the night.
And then he began to sing wow wow wow brilliant if only we could have heard him in he’s hey day, the harmony blending of voices just as in the recordings of yesteryear. Together they were fantastic obviously a much younger Peaches but together awesome.
The band was superb that Carly thought it was the earth wind and fire musicians when they opened the show with “in the stone” opening stanza. It was a brilliant performance all round.
From myself, Charmaine (wife) Carly (daughter) & Des (sister in law) thank you so much for allowing us a brilliant night’s musical entertainment out. They couldn’t stop talking in the car back home what a lovely show they just witnessed.
So thank you thank you thank you.
