It all started with a projection based on more than 50% of the actual numbers. The recession and struggling world economy resulted in a severely reduced volume, yet the complexity and prestigious ness of the project still remained the same. The Volvo brand is a strong brand and together with the Ocean Race, they have created a unique event that is recognized world wide as an exceptional sporting event.

Hi All

A Brief but HUGE thank you to each and every one of you involved in making the V & A Fair Lady fashion Show such a phenomenal success – the feedback and sms’s have been unbelievable and Fair Lady as well as the V & A team could not stop raving.

I can honestly say it was probably the most challenging production I have ever had to handle in terms of logistics – wind and the repercussions backstage along with all the havoc it played with our technicals – catering staff etc etc – and the list goes on and on!!! HOWEVER that all said it certainly seems all our challenges behind the scenes were not transparent to any of the audience which is an indication of a great and successful event and directly related to the professionalism of the team involved in the entire production .

The TEAM I say because each individual involvement was crucial to the overall success and without each of you I would never have been able to have pulled it off

Martin – as always you out did yourself both on the fashion show as well as throughout the evening –

Steve – The AV and camera elements are what highlighted the entire visual plethora and I can honestly say that had it been anyone other than you and your team handling it all I would have been a nervous wreck

Andrew & Will – The AV content was gorgeous as always – not to mention the thanks for handling all the late requests etc etc.

Thank you ALL and looking forward to the next one !!!

We are back from honeymoon and settling into London life.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at SMD for your slick and professional service and the amazing vibe you created on our wedding night!

The lighting was unbelievable and the music was exactly what we wanted!

I have attached some pics so you can see how fantastic the lights were for our photographs! Dirk says he has never has such brilliant lighting at a function and he even carried on going, at no charge, as he was so inspired!

Martin, please can you send me Brendan’s email. He said he would give me a CD with all the music on it, which I would love! I also would like to give this to our videographer so she can use some of the music on the DVD, especially the first dance.

I ended up saying my impromptu bit and introducing the first dance and it was so special – thanks for encouraging me!

Also I gave your details to close friends of mine Tal Saban and Russel Smith who are getting married next year, they should contact you at some point.
