Richie McCaw will make his 100th Super Rugby appearance on Friday

McCaw to hit 100

Richie McCaw will make his 100th Super Rugby appearance for the Crusaders when he takes the field against the Stormers on Friday.

McCaw will skipper the team and start in his preferred position of openside flank.

Todd Blackadder also made five other changes to his starting line-up. Hooker Corey Flynn has recovered from his ankle problems to start ahead of Ti’i Paulo while Wyatt Crockett replaces Ben Franks at loosehead.

George Whitelock returns to the starting line-up at Thomas Waldrom’s expense. This sees Kieran read move to No 8 as Whitelock fills in at blindside.

Colin Slade returns to fullback while Sean Maitland shifts to wing in Adam Whitelock’s place.
