Evolver One on Hollywood bill at Worldwide Radio Summit

EVOLVER ONE ON HOLLYWOOD BILL AT WORLDWIDE RADIO SUMMIT

Johannesburg, 23 March 2011: Johannesburg-based rock band Evolver One has been selected as one of 16 acts internationally to perform at a showcase at the Worldwide Radio Summit in Hollywood on 29 – 30 April 2011.

The band, selected via a rigorous selection process from submissions through ReverbNation.com, will perform live in front of American and international label presidents, A&R and publishing executives, film, TV and interactive music supervisors, talent bookers and promoters as well as press and new media executives.

“We are ecstatic at this opportunity to perform in front of some powerful international music executives and hope that this experience will give us some legs to break into international territories,” said Peter Pote, lead singer and guitarist, Evolver One, “The experience will be very valuable in assessing how our music is received by audiences outside of South Africa and this will assist us in the creative process when writing and recording future material.”Evolver One’s self-titled third album came with a name upgrade and was released in 2010 having spawned no fewer that three radio singles, most notably Criminal which made the top 20 on 5fm and can still be heard on most radio stations across the country.
