Cape Town’s own Macstanley [formerly Flat Stanley] has just released their third album Lucid, Alive and Dreaming.
The album, the group’s first in five years, offers the trademark melodic pop songs they are known for, most notably first single ‘Angel‘.
The band has clearly progressed since their last release, and has incorporated some new elements on their edgier, harder rock tracks.
Band members Andy Mac, Clinton and Neil said, “To us the most important thing has always been the song, and to be sure that it’s a good song you need to be able to play it on just a single acoustic guitar. We’ve stuck to this thinking with Lucid, alive & dreaming”.
