Simfy Africa, the digital/mobile music service is proud to announce that for every song played on its music service on Thursday 18 July 2013, the company will donate R1.00 to The Teddy Bear Clinic.
‘Users can listen to music on any of our apps and participate,’ said Davin Mole, CEO of simfy Africa. ‘We want to raise as much money as possible, so we encourage the public to sign up and listen to music. Of course, you don’t pay per song on our service, its an all-access system, so it’s such an easy way to show that you care.’
All plays on the service will count towards the total, including South African and international artists, whether in an album or a user’s playlist, whether online [streams] or offline. The service is also putting up a TeddyBear Clinic playlist of suggested songs which users can download or stream, which will be promoted on the front page.
Mole continues, ‘The Teddy Bear Clinic is a wonderful organisation, who work with communities to empower and educate them and put an end to child abuse. We wish them every success in their difficult, and most worthy task. This fundraising project, for this fantastic organisation is our way of giving back to our community this Mandela Day’.
Take action. Inspire change. Make every day a Mandela Day
