I do hope you will be able to join , Rodney Trudgeon, for PEOPLE OF NOTE this Sunday 17th at 7pm because he has a very special guest in the studio.

His name is TREVOR JONES and his impressive CV as a composer of film scores is incredible – Excalibur, Angel Heart, Mississippi Burning, Notting Hill, Last Of The Mohicans among many, many others. He’s worked with directors such as Steven Spielburg, George Lucas, Sir Alan Parker, Sir Ridley Scott and John Boorman and actors of the calibre of Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Gene Hackman, Daniel Day lewis, Sir Ian McKellan, Helen Mirren, Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.

Trevor Jones was born in District Six in Cape Town and fled the country as a 17 year old because of apartheid. He has returned to to his home town where he has based himself to continue writing for the silver screen and to concentrate on education in South Africa.
