YORKE is a band from Durban, South Africa formed in 2014 by Jordi Van Dyk, Joel Kenrick, Dean Wilkie and Bryn Scott. The music video for their first single, Goodbye Gravity, is due for release on the 1st of October 2014. Watch the teaser here: http://t.co/FCv6yWl5rD

Their sound, described in a few words: colorful, creative, intellectual, hopeful, diverse and fun. YORKE draws inspiration from day-to-day life, art, love, music and this diverse country – South Africa. As individuals, the members listen to a wide array of genres.

The members of YORKE have been involved in the SA music scene for some time; having contributed to the formation of different projects, and with two of the members having studied music at the University of Kwazulu Natal.

Their debut EP “An Ocean of Clouds” will be available on iTunes for purchase towards the end of the year.
