Back in 2017, that world expanded in a big way. At the Music Exchange conference in Cape Town, she stood among just eight international speakers the only voice representing Latin America. That same year, she stepped into another rare space: the BMI songwriting camp in partnership with Music Exchange. Four songwriters and producers were selected. Marcela was the only female producer in the room. A familiar position, perhaps, but never one that defined or limited her. She was there to create, to collaborate, to build something real the part of the process she loves most.
Because for Marcela, the magic has always been in creation.
