Kopton Music Presents: The Home of Sound Festival – A Celebration of South Africa’s Next Generation of Talent

Kopton Music proudly presents The Home of Sound Festival, taking place on 29 March at The Outlore Base.

an event positioned as more than just a festival, but a cultural movement celebrating South Africa’s emerging and established musical voices.

As Kopton Music marks its third year in business, the Gen-Z led publishing company continues to build a platform dedicated to nurturing and showcasing talent across jazz, hip-hop and neo-soul.

The Home of Sound Festival brings together a powerful line-up of artists including Kujenga pictured below

Internet Athi, Dusse Wavy, Kitso Seti and Khiwe G  – pictured below

This festival represents a homecoming — a reflection on how far the movement has come and a bold statement about where it is going. It is a celebration of identity, creativity and the next wave of South African sound.

Adding to the significance of the event, Kopton Music’s founder was a keynote speaker at the Music Exchange Conference #MEX25 in October 2025 in Cape Town — reinforcing the company’s growing influence in shaping industry conversations and supporting the next generation of artists.

The event runs from 1pm to 9pm, with doors opening at 12:30pm
