On 2 September, I moderated a panel at FAME Week Africa, led by Chad Saaiman. The discussion revealed a gap where many creatives focus on success but neglect essential business knowledge. Sustainable careers require education and discipline. My show, The Business of Entertainment, aims to address this, yet no delegates sought it out.
The panel "Show Me the Money – Making Sense (and Cents) of the Music Industry Money Map," will be held on 2 September from 10.30 to 11.45 am at CTICC Hall 2. Moderated by Martin Myers, industry insiders will discuss revenue flows, earnings, and provide practical advice for music creatives and entrepreneurs.
