Despite challenging travel conditions, the festival reinforced music's unifying power and the warmth of Malawi's spirit.
The Lake of Stars Festival, founded in 2004, is a cultural phenomenon celebrating Malawi’s heritage. It features workshops on music business, folklore, and festival economics. Organized by Dusty Orange Projects Et Al, it attracts global attendees and aims to harness arts for social change. Martin Myers from Music Exchange will participate as a panelist.
