THE AWESOME 80s DVD COLLECTION RETURNS IN 4 WEEKS TIME ON 2ND AUGUST 2010 WITH VOL. 4!

Following on from the GOLD-CERTIFIED Awesome 80s Music Video Collection Vol. 3 and Vol. 2 DVDs, Sony Music is proud to announce the release of Awesome 80s Music Video Collection Vol. 4 DVD on Monday 2nd August 2010.

Once again the very best music videos have been selected to be included in this very popular 80s DVD series.

Superstar artists Michael Jackson, George Michael, Simple Minds, Tina Turner, David Bowie, Eurythmics, Spandau Ballet, UB40, Duran Duran and Erasure are among the 40 chart-topping video hits from 1980 – 1989, to be included on Vol. 4, which packs in over 2½ of music!

Vol. 4 begins with a special ‘zombie’ edit of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, considered to be the most famous and influential music video of all time [‘Thriller’ was inducted into the National
Film Registry
in December 2009, the first music video to ever be
inducted], and ends with the recently re-formed Lotus Eaters and their 1983 hit ‘The First Picture of You’, which reached #15 on the UK singles chart.

As with the previous Awesome 80s DVD releases, all the videos included on Vol. 4 have been digitally remastered to obtain the highest quality possible and the audio is available in crystal-clear Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and also in PCM Stereo.
