ELVIS BLUE (30) FROM GEORGE: Elvis is married and is the proud father of a gorgeous baby girl named Lila. He lives with his family in George where he is a music teacher and full time musician. Elvis also teaches underprivileged youngsters how to play guitar – empowering the youth through music. Elvis’s real name is Jan Hoogendyk, but he adopted the name Elvis Blue as a tribute to an eleven year old friend of his with the same name who passed away as a result of HIV/Aids complications in 2009. When Elvis is not spending time strumming on the guitar or at home, you can find him in the ocean – this guy is addicted to surfing!
LLOYD CELE (28) FROM DURBAN: Lloyd grew up in KZN, and studied software engineering at MIIT College in Durban. This computer whizz works for an IT company as a graphic designer, but has always been musical. Starting out singing in the church as a youngster, Lloyd went on to learn how to play guitar and piano, and is now the worship pastor at his local church. Lloyd has been married to Janice for nearly four years and together they are proud parents of an adorable 18-month-old boy named Levi Josh.
ADELINE MOCKE (22) FROM CAPE TOWN: This drop-dead gorgeous FHM model is actually a small-town farm girl who grew up in Upington! Adeline is very close to her family, and her emotional resolve was recently tested when her father was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully he is now on the road to recovery, and Adeline can rejoice with her family that she made it all the way to the Top 14 of the competition. When Adeline isn’t travelling the world on glamourous photo shoots, you can find her on a jet ski, or a motorbike, as this girl is a total adrenalin junkie.
BOKI NTISME (21) FROM JOHANNESBURG: Boki was named affectionately after his grandfather, although he didn’t discover until recently that his name means ‘deer’ in Afrikaans! This self-confessed party animal grew up in Krugersdorp with his parents and two siblings, and studied music at Damelin College in Bramley. Apart from being able to sing brilliantly, Boki also plays the piano.
SINDISIWE NENE (22) FROM DURBAN: Sindi spent time growing up in Durban, Rustenburg, Johannesburg and now finds herself back in Kwa-Zulu Natal! This talented singer studied music at UKZN, where she also learnt to play bass guitar. She currently resides in Glenwood and spends her free time gigging around Durban.
