The Composers National Collegium concert on 16 November at 15:00 at the Fismer Hall, University of Stellenbosch.

The Composers National Collegium is proud to present a concert on 16 November at 15:00 at the Fismer Hall, University of Stellenbosch.

The progamme is compiled from works selected for the CNC’s annual Composers’ Workshop, that was hosted at the University of Pretoria in October this year. Young composers from several university music departments from all over South Africa were considered for this workshop and eight composers were selected to present their new compositions.

All works are for string quartet and percussion and will be performed by the Epoch String Quartet (Pretoria), with Magda de Vries on percussion. Last on the programme is Jeanne Zaidel-Rudolph’s latest work Epochs and Edifices, also for string quartet and percussion.

Admission is free.
This concert is not to be missed.
