On Monday 2 March 2015, Heart 104.9FM listeners woke up to a bit of a shake-up. While they will still awoke to the Heart Breakfast team presented by Aden Thomas, Julian Naidoo and Tapfuma Makina, a fresh new voice moved in behind the microphone between 9:00 and 12:00.
Tracey Lange will now present the mid-morning show. Lange is known for her infectious energy and boisterous laugh which is seriously contagious!
The rest of the week-day line-up stays the same with Clarence Ford hosting his Lunchbox between 12:00 and 15:00 and the #Drive326 team with Suga, Nick and Keri driving you home between 15:00 and 18:00. Diggy Bongz takes care of In the Mix from 18:00 to 22:00 and Irma G takes you into the break of dawn with Nightshift from 22:00 to 02:00.
The Weekday Wake-Up also sees a line-up change as JP Carelse moves in behind the microphone between 04:00 and 6:00 am. He will also take care of your party needs with the Weekend Party on Saturday’s from 22:00 to 01:00.
On Saturday the much loved On the Couch show (#OTC as it is know by), which is an informative banter filled spots show starts at 9am and runs till 10am giving listeners more chance to join the conversation .The show hosted by Tapfuma Makina and with Martin Myers and Flapper directing bouncers and goal kicks has been one of the longest running shows in the Western Cape and has been providing great conversation and debates for over 12 years now .
