The world’s largest ship, PIETER SCHELTE arrived at Cape Town anchorage this morning and dropped anchor in Anchorage No 1.
There is a lot of information about the ship on various websites. She will head for the Netherlands where final completion will take place.
It measures (382 metres) long and (124 metres) wide, The giant catamaran-shaped ship was built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering shipyard in South Korea.
