On Saturday we speak to Jernique Bayard on On the couch on Heart 104.9fm from 9-10am about being selected for the Protea Carp Team
Jernique was always keen on fishing and he approached a very good mate of mine (Pieter White, two time World Carp Fishing Champion) to teach me the finer skills with the primary objective of doing it for fun / leisure!
His response was simple: If you want to do it, do it right!
In 2009 he formally joined a Fishing Club and started the journey of Carp specimen angling.
