Jesse Clegg brings the heat with new single and SA summer tour

Platinum-selling artist, Jesse Clegg, has burst back on the music scene with his new single, ‘Let It Burn’. The single marks Jesse’s first new original music since the release of I’ve Been Looking in March 2018, which was the first and only collaboration he ever did with his father.

Fresh from three weeks of writing and recording new music in Los Angeles, Jesse returns to South Africa just in time to kick off his “Let It Burn” tour which will see him performing around the country from November until early January.

Jesse has also released the music video for the new track. The video features several cameo appearances including Abby Nurock, Francois van Coke, Jack Parow, Khan Morbee (Parlotones), Kim Engelbrecht, Odelle de Wet, Ross Learmonth (Prime Circle) and Sjava.

The catchy, upbeat pop-inspired song which has charted on stations across SA explores embracing the things that you fear. “In the context of a relationship, there are always these moments when you have to make yourself vulnerable to the other person and let them into your life, and we all have fears of being hurt or disappointed. Ultimately, it’s about that moment of conquering your doubts and embracing an experience or a relationship wholeheartedly,” says Clegg.
