Ihata Shelter

Ihata Shelter was established to help ALL women affected by domestic violence and who seek sanctuary by providing a caring, clean and safe shelter with accommodation up to six months. 

At the Ihata Shelter, women are allowed space and time to plan their lives ahead through services geared towards empowerment, improved self-respect, independence and recovery, ending with successful community re-integration.

Your R200 donation will go towards funding a woman in need, which currently costs Ihata Shelter R6 000 per month, and is invaluable in achieving her successful rehabilitation.
