We are celebrating the work of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band on and around his birthday this year.
The series of four concerts will kick off with a free pop-up concert at The V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on the Boss’ birthday, 23 September 2022 at 18h00
Thereafter, the full theatre production will be showcased for three nights only, at the Barnyard Theatre in Tygervalley on 30 Sept and 1 & 2 October.
The Boss and his band are famous for massively high energy, marathon-like performances of their hugely popular repertoire. As such, in order to do justice to a tribute of this ilk, some serious musicianship is required on stage, and behind the scenes too.
Totius Hill Media has assembled a band consisting of nine of our most accomplished musicians, being Jandré Spangenberg, JP le Roux, Alwyn Koen, Carlo de Villiers, Stanley Hill, Michael Wilson-Trollip, Leonardo Angelucci, Elaine Fourie and Morgan King, and the crew comprising three of South Africa’s finest audio, lighting and stage engineers, namely Justin Maree, Daniel Vorster and Pierre Rossouw.
This is the closest you will come to experiencing a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band concert, other than being at an actual concert.
Do you speak Springsteen?
For three performances only, Experience the Power and the Glory of the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band like never before!
This tribute concert to The Boss, accurate down to the stage design and instruments, promises to be the best Springsteen Concert you’ll ever see anywhere (apart from seeing The Boss himself, in his prime of course).
There are three Butterscotch Blonde Telecasters (Like The Boss himself plays) signed by the Cast, that will be given away to a lucky audience member at each of the three concerts!

Fourteen of the Finest Musicians and Crew on stage will showcase just why The Boss was nominated for 50 Grammys and won 25 of them, won an Oscar, a Tony, had a series of Best Selling Books and shares the World Record for the most TOP 10 singles off a single album.
From Born To Run and She’s The One, to Glory Days, Dancing in the Dark and The Rising, this once in a lifetime concert will leave you believing you were Born In The USA.
Through this production we hope to lay the foundation for higher production standards in the SA music scene.
With the E Street Experience we will go far above the present benchmark.
Stage design, down to the Piano, Organ and Drum Kit that the band uses, will be replicas of the originals. Fender Guitars South Africa have helped us to source four Fender Squier Telecasters in butterscotch blonde (the same as which The Boss plays). These will be signed by the Band and literally given away during each of the concerts.
Audio and Video production will ensure that the concert attendees experience will be similar to one actually being on Broadway.
