Kings of Old Skool is now Legends of Old School, we chat to Roger the Dodger Ahead of Saturday 8th October at CTICC in Cape Town
He’s been on the music scene for over 30 years entertaining people playing at various house parties, functions and guest DJ at Clubs in and around Cape Town.
He still maintains “playing old school music is what I do best”. During the Covid lockdown period Roger the Dodger created and started being active through live streaming which still enabled him to bring his talent to the people around the Globe.
These efforts have now brought him over 12000 followers and he continues to play on this platform.

What is your job description?

What does music mean to you?
Music is a big part of my life it brings a sense of calm when listening or playing it

Brings back memories & nostalgia. Certain music touches my soul & gives me goosebumps.

To the Lord my God.

Having to go to the toilet in a set & not making it back in time before the song ended.

A close friend of mine Jason Strobel. So down to earth & always willing to lend a helping hand.
