Listen to Moreira Chonguiça’s first single Hosi/King from his eagerly anticipated eighth album Sounds of Peace due on November 4th, 2022

Mozambican jazz-saxophonist, composer, and producer, Moreira Chonguiça is feted as one of the finest exponents of innovative and original jazz from Africa. 

 And his company Morestar Entertainment is delighted to announce the release of Moreira Chonguiça’s first single Hosi/King from his eagerly anticipated eighth album Sounds of Peace that is due on November 4th, 2022. The album  explores the traditional influences of Mozambique with jazz. 

The song, Hosi meaning King in Changana, pays homage to a higher power featuring Xindiro Compaghia de Canto e Dança with Alexandre Chilaúle and Arejústel Mulimela on vocals. 

The work was Mixed and Mastered by  Murray Anderson at Milestone Studios in  Cape Town.
