African Kulture and Music Exchange Empowering African Creatives

On Monday, 4 May, 18 hand picked creatives at Bertha Retreat gathered for an insightful workshop session with Martin Myers from Music Exchange. 

Martin was  the guest speaker to open the 3 day CBA Boot Camp, (Creative Business Accelerator) hosted and set up by African Kulture.

Held from 4pm to 8pm, the conversation explored the realities of building a sustainable creative career, the business behind creativity, and what it truly means to be industry-ready.

Through an open and engaging fireside-style discussion, Martin shared practical insights from his experience across music, events, media, and creative entrepreneurship, offering valuable perspectives on professionalism, relationships, positioning, and long-term growth within the creative industries.

The session brought together a diverse group of creatives working across music, fashion, film, and visual arts, creating a meaningful space for learning, reflection, and honest dialogue.
